About Order Act
The name "Order Act" is a direct response to the restrictive regulations and pressures imposed on the technology and rave music scene by the "Criminal Justice and Public Order Act," which came into effect in 1994.This law has hindered the growth of these cultures and movements by imposing strict controls on outdoor parties and raves. Within this movement, it has suppressed the freedom of expression and sense of community among the youth. The name "Order Act" combines the concepts of "order" and "act" while representing a critical approach to this legal proposal. It symbolizes strict regulations and rebellion, merging the notions of "order" and "movement." At the same time, the use of "act" (movement) challenges the norms represented by the concept of "order," expressing rebellion, change, and freedom. This name adopts a defiant and rebellious stance with the harsh expression of street and urban forms. "Order Act" is not just a name; it is also an expression of rebellion and protest against the norms represented by "order."
